This small example will limit your submitters to a certain number. Once the limit is reached, a message shows instead of the form layout.
This control is enabled both on Form display and on Form submit. This means that if you want to still show the form, but not allow submissions once the limit is reached, you have to edit your form, go to the Scripts tab, and erase the code that you find in Scripts called on form display
